Food Particles Contributes To Swollen Gums
Food particles left in the mouth especially between the teeth and the gum line can result into having a gum disease such as swollen gums , bleeding gums and receding gums. The food particles that are not removed between the teeth and the gum line will form into plaque and produce acids and toxins that causes inflammation. These inflammation results into gum disease ad if left untreated it may cause further damage to our dental health and may even lead to tooth loss.
To avoid swollen gums and gums diseases cause by foods stuck between the teeth and the gum lines, it is recommended to brush and floss every after meal and swish some saltwater solution to remove bacteria causing plaque. s play a vital role in gum disease prevention, and dental visits are required at least twice a year for dental assessment.
